Rotameters of the SIKA brand are designed to determine the volume flow of liquids or gases and can be installed in pipelines. The rotameter consists of a conical measuring tube, inside of which there is a float.

The measurement principle is based on the vertical movement of the float in the flow of the working medium. Various forces act on the float: drag, buoyant force, as well as the force of the weight of the float. Thus, when the volume flow increases, the float rises. The upper edge of the float shows the current flow rate on the scale.
